Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of SiteForge (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the website and services at site-forge.uk (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About these terms
SiteForge is operated by William Hurt. You can contact us at any time at support@site-forge.uk.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and us. We may refer to other policies, such as our Privacy Policy, which also apply to your use of the Service.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of any business you register on the Service.
- Notify us promptly at support@site-forge.uk if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
- Disrupt, overload or interfere with the Service or other users.
- Copy, resell or redistribute the Service without our permission.
- Upload content that infringes the rights of others or contains malicious code.
4. Documents & professional responsibility
SiteForge is a tool that helps you produce RAMS, risk assessments, COSHH assessments and method statements. You remain solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and approving every document before it is used or relied upon. The Service does not provide health and safety, legal or professional advice, and does not replace the judgement of a competent person. You are responsible for ensuring that any document is accurate, complete and appropriate for the actual work and site conditions, and that it complies with all relevant legislation and standards.
5. AI-generated content
Some content is generated using artificial intelligence. AI output may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. It is provided as a starting point only and must be checked and amended by a competent person before use. We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose.
6. Subscriptions & billing
- Some features require a paid subscription. Prices and plan limits are shown on the Service and may change with notice.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
7. Intellectual property
We (and our licensors) own all intellectual property rights in the Service, including its software, design and branding. You retain ownership of the content and data you enter, and of the documents you generate. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or restrict the Service for maintenance, updates or technical reasons.
9. Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on documents or content produced using the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, though certain provisions (such as those on liability and intellectual property) will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
